I guess that back in 1999, before I bought my car, I was already a reader of tdiclub.com. So that was my main reference regarding tdi engines and engine tuning. I think there is no other place where you can learn so much about other people experiences with TDIs. The only problem is that it is to much U.S. based and there are not to many references to European market and European companies related to TDIs.

There is no other place to get to know TDI engines faster than reading the TDI FAQ from tdiclub.com. You can choose from the html version or the pdf.

Also there are a lot of more recent foruns where you can exchange experiences regarding TDI engines.
